Best Practice Example: Proof of Concept (POC)

If you do some research on the proof of concept (POC) you will recognise that there are several opinions about it. To provide you with some more first-hand information, we asked Christoph from Parcellab for his advice on this controversial topic.

My advice for the proof of concept (POC):

  1. Clear boundaries – Both sides need to know what the goal is

  2. State your point – Find a pain point, solve the problem and measure it to prove you have fulfilled the goal

  3. Again – Measure it! This helps you in price negotiations

  4. Last but not least – Never do it for free!
